When I had my baby he was already a month old when we did his newborn photos, and trust me, I was feeling less than cute and really didn’t want to be photographed. But I look back on those photos ALL the time and I’m SO glad we have them.

“What should I look for when hiring a newborn photographer?”
It's important to choose a photographer who specializes in newborn photography and has experience working with infants. While I have only been a newborn photographer for a short time, I have 17 nieces and nephews, so the world of babies (and their older toddler siblings) is nothing new to me ;)
I'm dedicated to providing a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable experience for you and your baby. I provide in-home newborn photography so you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your own home because I know how hard that can be in those first few weeks. I understand the importance of capturing these early moments, and I want to make it as accessible for you as possible!
“What can I expect during a newborn photography session?”
During a newborn photography session, I'm all about capturing moments that feel like YOU. I want you to look back on these photos and remember how it felt to sit in that chair you always sit in and rock your baby while holding his little hands. I’m not here to overly pose anyone or dress your newborn in a costume, I’m here to capture the magic of those everyday newborn moments in your home ( except this time you’ll be wearing a pretty dress instead of a spit up old sweatshirt)
You should include your family members in the photos, and I encourage parents and siblings to participate in this special moment to truly capture the whole family. If you have any specific poses or props in mind, I'm always happy to incorporate your ideas and preferences into the session as well.
To capture the best moments, it's important to schedule your newborn photography session as early as possible, ideally within the first two weeks of your baby's life. I recommend booking your session as soon as possible during your pregnancy to ensure availability.
“Do I need to bring anything?”
The good news is… I will come to you! So you don’t have to worry about making sure you packed enough diapers, or scramble to get everyone dressed in time. We get to create beautiful portraits right in the comfort of your own home!
“When will I get my photos?”
Ready to have your mind blown? You get your photos THAT DAY!!!! I know you will never be more excited to see your photos than you are right now, so let’s capitalize on that! After your session, I will take 30-45 minutes to go through and edit all your pictures then present them to you in a slideshow right on your own TV! ( make sure you grab the tissues!)
Once we’ve gotten all the feels out, you’ll have the opportunity to order albums and prints that day to ensure that these sweet memories don’t just live their lives on the cloud, but can become artwork that will be cherished for years to come.
“How much does newborn photography cost?”
Newborn photography sessions can range from $500 to $3,000, depending on the package. I know this might seem like a significant investment, but keep in mind that newborn photography is a specialized service that requires a lot of time, effort, and equipment. I'm dedicated to providing high-quality images & products that you'll cherish for a lifetime! And If you don;t want any products at this time, that’s totally fine! You receive ALL of your digital files as a part of your session fee!
